Crimes against humanity

War crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide did not end with WW II. Many are talking about a third world war, but it takes a brief look at the news to understand that war, poverty and misery are already widespread throughout most of the globe and affect the bigger part of humanity.

Mainstream media often refuses to cover many important stories that affect the life of whole populations. Instead they choose to focus on a couple of conflicts that are mediatized and where they are vigorously fighting to present the story in most profitable way.

Social media is already shifting the power away from corporate and government controlled information, and giving it in the hands of ordinary people. Raising awareness about all the important and undercovered issues is already being part of their solution.

American Holocaust of Native American Indians (FULL Documentary) Featured

The powerful and hard-hitting documentary, American Holocaust, is quite possibly the only film that reveals the link between the Nazi holocaust, which claimed at least 6 million Jews, and the American Holocaust which claimed, according to conservative estimates, 19 million Indigenous People.

It is seldom noted anywhere in fact, be it in textbooks or on the internet, that Hitler studied Americas Indian policy, and used it as a model for what he termed the final solution.

He wasnt the only one either. Its not explicitly mentioned in the film, but its well known that members of the National Party government in South Africa studied the American approach before they introduced the system of racial apartheid, which lasted from 1948 to 1994. Other fascist regimes, for instance, in South and Central America, studied the same policy.

Noted even less frequently, Canadas Aboriginal policy was also closely examined for its psychological properties. America always took the more wide-open approach, for example, by decimating the Buffalo to get rid of a primary food source, by introducing pox blankets, and by giving $1 rewards to settlers in return for scalps of Indigenous Men, women, and children, among many, many other horrendous acts. Canada, on the other hand, was more bureaucratic about it. They used what I like to call the gentlemans touch, because instead of extinguishment, Canada sought to remove the Indian from the Man and the Women and the Child, through a long-term, and very specific program of internal breakdown and replacement call it assimilation. America had its own assimilation program, but Canada was far more technical about it.

Perhaps these points would have been more closely examined in American Holocaust if the film had been completed. The films director, Joanelle Romero, says shes been turned down from all sources of funding since she began putting it together in 1995.

Perhaps its just not good business to invest in something that tells so much truth? In any event, Romero produced a shortened, 29-minute version of the film in 2001, with the hope of encouraging new funders so she could complete American Holocaust. Eight years on, Romero is still looking for funds.

American Holocaust may never become the 90-minute documentary Romero hoped to create, to help expose the most substantial act of genocide that the world has ever seen one that continues even as you read these words.

Thank you for your page and this documentary.
Please be cautious about the fact that the nazi holocaust didn't exactly killed 'at least 6 millions jews', it killed, as a higer estimate, 17 millions persons among which, as a higher estimate, 6 millions jews and also catholics, ethnic polish civilians, handicapped persons, homosexuals, romas, serbs, slavs, soviet prisonners of wars (see

People overlook their own nations faults because it's propaganda tells them to believe that they are good and true, when basically they are a corrupt as every other nation of people and every stinking human on this stinking rock is corrupt, unclean and impure, we are a foul, scheming, self-serving race of imps and we will always be so as far as I can see. Sure we are making progress towards a moral, non-discriminative society, but it's not good enough, our souls are still black, with the evil that still resides in all of us. I for one can say that it makes me sick, it disgusts me what humanity is capable of the horrors we have dealt, the deaths, the hate. This isn't life, humans succeeded at building hell on earth, one writhe with fear, doubt, dread, greed and suffering.

Which brings me to the end of my rant, that's enough internet for tonight...

I as an American from Indian Blood and From the first settlers to this land from England , I know you could take every nationality and find evil has been done to it .Read the Bible and tell me this is not true. There can only be one reason that different nationality's have to bring up again and again the wrong that was done is because they feel guilty or they want to see someone pay for the wrong. If payment was to be made then they are way to late . But if the wrongs done by man are going to be judged by the Great White spirit or aka GOD then why keep bring up a wrong that can not be undone by anyone other then God.. I will trust God to handle the judgement. These are the last names in my family , Tollman Carver Murphy all of which have peoples who have been killed by each other. Now figure that out.

I say bull pucky. Do your own research and keep an open mind. And by research, I don't mean articles like the above. There are tons of documents available with no political agenda. I refuse to hang my head in shame for the way people were treated 200 years ago,
as I am too angry with the way women are treated the whole world over right now.

To, 'the pieces fit', Please, ask your writers and documentary makers to stop using sexist language semantics. Sexist language semantics censor women out of the human race. It is the human race, not the man race.
Here is an example of where your documentary makers referred to us all as man rather than as human or people.

    Sexist language matters. Here's why.

I shared this on my facebook page, but a few hours later, it had disappeared. I went back to your page and I did not see it there either. Seems very strange to me as even in the first hour I posted the video, I noted that many people had liked and shared it.

If you look back in History every group of people have been misused. Rome took more white slaves from Europe then any group of slaves in history. There should be some compensation somewhere for the white people. It is just plain wrong And more time should be spent looking at this. That way the whole planet can celebrate together and we can live in peace as one. Earthlings!!!

Seems to me that the Euro ethnics have done such a good job in brainwashing and extermination of the original peoples of N,S,Central america that most traces are lost forever! Well done!!

Karma has a way of working itself out and it will happen! I'm white with a trace of native in my family. Perhaps I'm 1/4 blood but appear white. I've been angry 45 years as the whites have done such a good job in their extermination and policies that I can't authenticate my association past the year 1855 going down in time. How proud they must have been and continue to this day!

The Germans came to grips with the atrocities commited against the Jews. The U.S. gov't won't even admit those comitted against native people much less drop their policies. I pose a question to you: Doesn't the U.S. constitution guarantee "The inAlienable right to the pursuit of happiness and the right to self determination"? I suppose this only applies to WHITES! Go BIA

I am very saddened by the atrocities Western society has imposed on our First Nation people, be it Indians or makes me ashamed to be white! Again and again we as white people search and conquer, whilst eradicating people and land whom we can learn so much from. When will racism ever end? Well done Joanelle Romero for bringing this documentary to our attention. May we learn from the past, and have the courage to change the future.

Well done. First Nations peoples throughout Canada are becoming well aware of what has happen to our people, and a cultural revival is in full swing. Much of our cultural is intact on the North Coast of B.C. and grows stronger with time. [K'wihl H'auusqum Xsgaak]

I'm with Teresa Hawkes on this. I have supported numerous projects on Kickstarter, Pozible, and Indie Go Go, including several film projects, and would gladly support a crowd funding campaign to see this documentary completed.

My thanks to Joanelle Romero for this video. I can't find the words to say how bad I feel about the treatment of all indigenous people. One of the biggest obstacles to change is ignorance among white society. I think the biggest problem is that they just don't care. If only we could get their attention long enough to show them the truth of what happened and is still happening, maybe, just maybe we would have a chance at real change. So many people I talk to who are totally ignorant of the true facts or completely taken in by stereotypical misinformation, are surprised and supportive after hearing some of the true facts. Education of all of us foreigners is a daunting task indeed but I hope that, for the sake of . future generations, people like Joanelle Romero never give up.

Ive been aware of my indigenous roots from my own folks at home. It seems that the indians down south have dire situation for survival as the vices of drugs and o4ganized crime are spreading through out our continent. If you consider Honduras part of a indigenous branch then you will see the hurt they face daily for survival of the poison in their lands. It saddens me to share that for every 100, 000 inhabitants there are at least 86 people killed daily. It is the highest death incident in the world. I share the grief of those dead not in our history books but lets make conscious about those are still rescueable in this day and age. Thx and sorry for the innuendo.
