The big picture

A fact without the context can mean anything. When you are trying to reach any sort of "truth", you are actually looking for the context. Every issue, whether it's going to be economic, political, social or personal can only be understood by thinking of it as part of a bigger picture.

In politics, putting subjects and events out of any context is one of the most common techniques used to sell whatever idea they want.

The purpose of this website is to connect a lot of the pieces of the puzzle and show a bigger picture of our reality. We cannot fully understand our social and economic problems if we don't put them in the context of history and human evolution. The environmental crisis and its importance can't be comprehended if we don't look at the bigger picture of life and our part in it. A social problem will have consequences on both personal micro level and on a global macro level.

If we want to have a clearer picture of the mechanics that are creating our reality on a global scale we need to understand the choices that guide us as individuals in our daily lives.

'Home' - every person with internet should see this documentary!

If you haven't seen this documentary I really recommend that you take the time to do so. We all have empathy for life and each other and this goes beyond our political and religious beliefs. We cannot wait any longer, lets change the present!

We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth's climate. The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being.

For this purpose, HOME needs to be free. A patron, the PPR Group, made this possible. EuropaCorp, the distributor, also pledged not to make any profit because Home is a non-profit film.

HOME has been made for you : share it! And act for the planet.

'Home' is a documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The film is almost entirely composed of aerial shots of various places on Earth. It shows the diversity of life on Earth and how humanity is threatening the ecological balance of the planet.

The movie was released simultaneously on June 5, 2009, in cinemas across the globe, on DVD, Blu-ray, television, and on YouTube, opening in 181 countries. Home had its world festival premiere at the Dawn Breakers International Film Festival in 2012.
